The Golden Square Hotel Bendgo is centrally located on High St just 2km south of Bendigo central in the historic suburb of Golden Square. The hotel dates back to the late 1800’s and was once the southern tram terminal for services provided out of the city centre. We have vintage images and pictures on the hotel walls displaying the important role the hotel played back in the good old days! The hotel was also owned and known by the locals as “Billy Rodda’s†– a famous footballer in Golden Square. The Golden Square Hotel now has a new management team and staff and offers patrons a range of modern facilities and services including TAB, sports bar, bistro, lounge area, beer garden and function room. The “Square†is well loved by locals and travellers!
